Response to Can Obama win? |
|
Howdy,
Been a while since I last clicked meself here...
Seems like an interesting race for both parties. Sadly, I think you're right about the chances of Obama or Hillary in the actual elections. Although, in the case of Hillary, it's not just about electing a woman. She'll draw plenty of negative votes even without the ovaries.
I just hope that the nutjob Huckabee doesn't win the gop nomination (although that might win the election for the dems). I'm rooting for McCain myself. He's always seemed like a smart dude for a republican. Honest and almost unpolitician-like even. I'm not a great fan of the Irak war, but I still prefer a realistic way of ending the conflict. McCain might actually come up with one. Giuliani seems a bit weasely, but would be bearable. Romney might have good credentials in terms of financial policies, but being a mormon isn't exactly the winning formula. Thompson doesn't seem to have any substance.
I'm guessing Obama-McCain or Obama-Giuliani. Hillary won't recover from the early loss media rampage. | |
