.........just like the Republicans had those "Al Sharpton for President" buttons back in 2004. An opponent who will be easy to pick apart.
While she did excite the base I definitely think she cost McCain votes from the undecided crown. There were so many better choices out there. He still may have lost but it would have been much closer if he had Lieberman or Romney as his running mate.
I think Huckabee or Romney are the safer bets for 2012.
