Odd thing is, my dad never used a safety razor, so I didn't know what I was missing. He used an electric most of the time, and sometimes he'd use an injector razor. One of my uncles is still using the same Navy-issued DE razor he got while serving in Korea. I'll have to ask him one day, but I'll bet it's a Gillette Superspeed.
