...for listening to me whine. I think I've pulled myself together, now.

She sang "America The Beautiful" to open the grad ceremony last night, and it was pretty awesome. My Mom and Dad got to see it, which was really great, as a few months ago we thought Mom was a goner. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride this year, with all that's gone on in the family, Michigan's economy disappearing, and lots of other stuff I won't bore you with.

Bottom-line is, there's a lot of good things happening too, and we can't let the bad things ruin the experience. It's a lesson we've always tried to teach our kids, as our parents taught us.
