.....You know better than that. Re-enlistment is up because of 9/11 and the War on Terror, not because of the War Against Iraq...you know this, but like President Bush, you're too willing to equate both, attempting to get others to believe 9/11 (and the subsequent War on Terror) and the War Against Iraq are the same thing. Like President Bush, you desperately need others to believe this, but despite Octo's windbagging, the two are not related.
.....Here on camp, I know 5 Americans who had left the Military but re-enlisted after 9/11 "because it felt like the right thing to do!" There may be more, I'm sure there are... I've just met five, but there outrage is directed at 9/11 and the terrorists who struck at America, not Iraq. And don't get me wrong, they are disgusted and angered when they see their comrades being killed, but to a man, so far, nobody's said they've re-enlisted because of Iraq...it's always because of 9/11, two completely different issues all together...D'
