The whole scene was a copy of the movie Slapshot, Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O'Neal playing the Hansen Brothers, the only thing missing was the thick glasses.
Interesting that you mention European soccer matches being used to vent nationalist sentiments. Anyone remember a match between England and Ireland about 10 years back? The Irish scored the first goal so the English fans (neo-nazi skinheads) began to rip the damn chairs out and thowing them on the Irish fans below.
In Spain least week, some Spainish fans would make monkey noises everytime a black player from the English side touched the ball. I've heard this is pretty common in Eastern Europe as well.
