....as long as the strike is settled before the usual fall training camp date. He said he would probably retire, if another lockout occurs. He's not interested in playing for any European or minor league clubs, for sure.
He also made an interesting point about his eye-situation. Says the eye was far worse last fall, than he was letting on. Extremely photo-sensitive, and some blurriness. Says he would have likely missed some games early.
Now, he says the eye is improving steadily, and is much better than it was last fall. Also, he says he's in great shape physically, and his knee is much stronger, as he has continued the rehab program after his drastic, innovative surgery.
I hope he gets one more kick at the Cup. Hull, Chelios and Woolley are gone, no matter what. Youth will be served, if the Wings ever hit the ice as a team again.
