I'm perfectly willing to vote for a minority for President, I would just prefer that the first one out of the gate wasn't a damn Marxist. Considering the way some of his partisans have gone after some that disagreed with him, my jury is still out on whether he is a Stalinist.
What bothers me is that I don't want this to be an indicator that the country is now center-left instead of center-right. England and France are "late great" countries and I don't want to join them. I'm not happy that a moderate, slightly liberal sitting Senator is having trouble beating Stuart Smalley. |
