I think the scenerio in Iran has far reaching implications for the U.S. and it's overall forgein policy positions. At this time, I believe the current position is untenable and will lead to a lessening of U.S. influence in the Middle East and in Europ. When Clinton came to the presidency, I thought the "children" had taken command of the government; this is far worse and the ramifications will be severe and long lasting. Our president won by offering the kiddies ice cream; since ice cream is much more satisfying than hard work, the kiddies voted with their taste buds. The kiddies kiddies will pay a lot for their ice cream. |
