I am trying to find out more about my father who was with 10 squadron, he was a rear gunner , i know he was in Halifax ZA-H mz789 which crash landed at Guines (9km south of Calais) at around 7 AM in the morning of Novemver 29, 1944.Sadly his flying log has been lost, i,m not sure if he was awarded the dfm, he wore the ribbon on his uniform, i,ve searched the flight magazine. he stayed with 10 squadron till 1946.i do have a couple of photographs , one with the crew and ground crew stood at the front of the plane and one of him at the back by the rear gun in his flying gear which i could upload.
if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
