Dear 57 Rescue,
I just visited your site for the first time, wonderful!. My father Jake Milford (Winnipeg) flew one full tour as a Navigator/bombadier in the 427 Lion Squadron stationed in Leeming in 1941-42. I have not been able to find any info on any related sites about 427. If anybody out there has knowledge of 427's adventures please contact me. I have a lot of stories, most of them funny and some pretty gruesome that I can share. I also have Dad's logbook.
