Unfortunately there are no records that can identify English Electric serialnumbers to RAF ones.
Do you know a date on which the aircraft crashed, perhaps there are eyewitnesses who can give further information. A further tip would be to check local police records. These have been very helpful in the past during my research into crashed aircraft in Noord-Holland.

R O M Dunlop was from Hamilton, Ontario. As the RCAF did not train flt engs he must have been in ground crew and remustered to flight engineer with the RAF training him.
(though I stand to be corrected) there were 1, 913 RCAF Flight Engineers trained through the BCATP at No. 1 Flight Engineer's School based at Aylmer, Ontario which operated from July 1, 1944 - March 31, '45.
At least this is according to the stats in Spence Dunmore's "Wings for Victory".
However the vast majoruty of F/E were trained up and provided by the RAF.
As the a/c cited met its demise well prior to this though it would be intersting to uncover how a RCAF airman managed to be in this particular trade ...
