Just noticed in the 138 log book i have,the owner's first 3 flights were in "G543" on 29/11/43, 1/12/43(Both day) and 2/12/43(Night) Could this possibly be DT543 NF-G?....its the only serial he wrote in this way the rest written "correctly" eg,LW280,LW272,etc. If so
is this the subject of Diverse Images recent 138 Halifax
model ? if it is i guess they must have used photographic references for the model,does anyone know of any ? I know MK 2 DT543 crashed on17/7/44.Coincidentally she was also the subject of a side view art work in Flypast magazine in March 2002.
