Dear Paul, The part numbers you have on the parts are indicating this Halifax was from the English Electric factory that built Halifaxes.
The EEP numbers are stamps of inspectors of this factory.
The SS57298E1 means that this part is made from Halifax blueprint 57298
E means it is a part from a flying control, automatic or manual
Obviously 57 is the Halifax model number so it could be off a Mark 1 or Mark 2 or Mark 3 aircraft.
I am trying to identify the propeller blade I have.
Rough dimension fits to Rotol one Halifax.
This is a wooden poppeler with "BAL" and BE + number markings on its mounting part.
I will sent pictures as soon as sb is ready to help me.
Best regards

The Merlin powered Halifaxes had laminated wooden propeller blades, not metal. This means that this blade if from a Halifax is from a MK I or MK II, possibly a MK 5. If the propeller was found/recovered in Poland it could be from a Halifax that flew from Italy to Poland or N. Africa to Poland for dropping supplies over Warsaw.
