For those who do not read French, the post by Herve reads as follows (approximately).

Good evening, I seek a photograph with all the members of the crew of HALIFAX MZ807 of the 433 SQUADRON which crashed in the night of the 2 or 3 December 1944 (mission bombardment of the factories of the town of HAGEN) Merci (sorry, I do not use English)

If anyone can help please post a reply here.  We can muddle through the language barrier using an online translator like Babelfish! http://world.altavista.com/

Linzee (sorry I can't communicate in French!)

Bonjour encore Herve!

Try looking on the Canadian Virtual War Memorial website

And now in English.....
This site contains a registry of information about the graves and memorials of more than 116,000 Canadians and Newfoundlanders who served valiantly and gave their lives for their country. Included on this site are the memorials of more than 100 soldiers who died in service to Canada since the Korean War, including peacekeeping and other operations. The site also contains digital images of photographs and personal memorabilia about individual Canadians. The purpose of the Canadian Virtual War Memorial is to recognize and keep alive the memory of the achievements and sacrifices made by those who served Canada in the defence of freedom and so have contributed to the development of Canada as a nation.

Linzee (considering applying for job on next Eurovision song contest!)

Joyeux Noel

You see, it helps to have had a French-Canadian girlfriend in my past. I found a photo of W.H. COOK on Richard Koval's site.

If you use Nanton's Virtual Memorial site you can find all the casualties for 433 Sq. for the entire war then cut it down to the guys kia on Dec2/44 and Cook's name came up along with his crew.

Merry Christmas to all.
Cheers, Karl Kj.
