Hi all,

Just got an original copy of the Halifax III/VII pilot's
notes. The name of the previous owner (?) was written on the inside.

C.E. Rowley R C A F 427 Squadron. The notes are dated May 1944.

Who can help me with some information about this pilot?

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Cees

Thanks Borscht,

That fits the bill exactly as with the pilot's notes came also a flight engineers instruction book, a Bristol Hercules fuel consumption disc and some dated forms on which the contents of fuel tanks were noted (two off).

Any more information about him? The forms could have been filled out during operation sorties. Exciting to know about him.

Cheers

Cees

We did this project at school for the flight paths that 427 Squadron took during WW2 but I don't think that very many people know about it. Can you pass it on:
