Can anyone help me locate a second hand copy of Melbourne Ten by Brian Rapier please. My father-in-law Ronald Deavall was ground crew servicing the Halifax at nearby Elvington during the war and would dearly like a copy. Amazon are quoting £46 which is a little too expensive.
Your wonderful site is the only other respose I have found to the book on a google search!

What was the serial number of this Halifax and the period she was at Elvington?

Hi PETER try Midland Secondhand Books they had a copy for £20 in there last but one catalouge As you say this is very hard to find it took me three years to obtain my own copy You can get it through your local library
