Hi I have been able to borrow the log book of the bomb aimer who flew with my brother. They met up at 21otu Moreton in the Marsh
went on to various training units before going to HCU and then finished up at 10 squadron, in the log book their pilots name appears from the time they met at 21otu until unfortunately they were killed at 10 squadron can anyone tell me if they flew as a crew all of the time

Hi The log book belonged to 148348 Flt Sgt W J McCarroll Bomb Aimer The pilot was Ausralian 427001 P/O N C C Leitch My brother was mid upper gunner 1866298 C A R Dummer they died 17 6 44
They crewed up at Moreton In The Marsh 21OTU

Five years ago I started researching the crew and the plane HALIFAX L V 825G I had those records diditilzed also those of the rear gunner Six weeks ago I received an email from P O N C C leitchs daughter who never knew him he was over here when she was born. I have been able to supply her with a lot of information I have managed to locate all of the crews relatives that is how I managed to borrow the Bombaimers log book
