I am looking for information about my uncle F/S Trevor A McManus who was stationed at Driffield with 466 Squadron, Crew 134, when the Halifax was shot down while on an operation to Sterkrade on 6th October 1944. A computer crash has eliminated what little information I had put together so, with another ANZAC Day just observed, I am starting again. Other crew members were Captain: P/O T J Kenyon (KIA 0, Navigator: F/S R C Klezel (KIA) Bomb Aimer: Sgt B White (KIA) Wireless operator: F/S T A McManus (KIA) Mid Upper Gunner: F/S F M Herne (KIA) Rear Gunner: F/S N F Robinson (KIA) Flight Engineer: Sgt P D Jack (POW)
I think all of the crew were Australian except for Sgt P.D.Jack who was with the RAF.

Hello Keith,
I hope you are the same person who requested information about Robert Toomey a number of years ago. My return message was bounced back (invalid email address).
In that email you mentioned that Toomey gave your father a map that he drew of the march from Bankau to Luckenwalde.
Mr. Toomey is my father-in-law, and I am in the process of creating a website in his honour.
