I have a small problem, sources claim that the serial number of Halifax 8A-P was either LL293 or LL294 Can anyone confirm which one it was? The aircraft belonged to 298 squadron and the pilot was F/0 Bill Taylor. It was lost in action 14/15 October 1944.

"The Halifax File" has LL293 298 Sqd as........
FTR, SOE operations "Rummy 6" to Emmen area of the Netherlands, 15.10.44.

And LL294 518 Sqd as soc 19.2.45.
