I am reaserching my friends aircraft LW135,can anyone help with details of crew or aircraft.
she was shot down 12/13th june 1944 near arras in france.
The crew being;

SGT K G BULOW RAF EVD
F/O E M BEATON RCAF POW 7470
P/O L W CARTWRIGHT CAF KIA
WO2 E R DUFFIN RCAF KIA
SGT E D DUBEAU RCAF KIA
SGT G PARSONS RCAF KIA

I hav located k bulows son who still has kens paracute pack,log book.
can anyone help?.

Wayne - bad night for 427 Sqdn. Lost 3 Halifax a/c and crew on raid to Arras, France. Of 21 air crew 16 Kia, 4 evaded and 1 POW. Crews of F/O R.C. Pearson, and Proudfoot crew and Fulton crew. Pearson and crew aboard Halifax LW135 ZL - R-Roger. That is all for now

Am today Sunday 31st going to visit kens son,Paul,
to collect kens log book and some photos to copy.

Since posting, through the help of a lady in Canada, Geraldine Chase, we have made contact with the family of F/O BEATON.
I have also managed to find some details of the French helpers and resistance people who helped the guys.
