I am seeking information/contact about the crew of Halifax JD115, ID# NP-D, from 158 Squadron, Lisset.
The plane went down Dec 20/21. 1943 at Kraftsolms, Germany on operations to Frankfurt.
The crew consisted of:
F/S Robert Lloyd McCulloch RCAF (my uncle) KIA
Sgt Alexander McNeil Anderson KIA
F/S(F/O) T.L. Evans KIA
F/O R.M. McCabe RCAF KIA
Sgt R.C.L Hoskin RAAF KIA
Sgt A.B. Hicks KIA
Sgt P. Stewart POW
The crew who were lost rest in the Hannover War Cemetery.
Sgt Stewart was held in Dulag Luft POW camp. I have a copy of a letter from his father to my grandfather after his capture but I do not know if he returned to Scotland.
