Can anyone possibly help me.
My grandad served with 102 squadron from May 43 to October 43as a W/OP.
His pilot was John L Causton.
Wondered id anyone knows anyone who relatives flew this squadron at same time and any stories or even photos. I have one photo of my grandad and desperately need more, any scrap of info is a bonus...regards Mark.
My father in law F/Sgt Gordon Babbage (later W/O) was a rear gunner on 102 from May 1943 until November 1943. His pilot was a Sgt Carey (later F/Lt)and they were in B and C flights. They did a total of 21 ops during their time with 102.
I have his logbook detailing all of is ops (51 in total) with 102 and later 156 for his second tour.

Unfornately the only details I have are from my father who has passed away, but I would be keen to hear from any members of the squadron that served with my Uncle and possibly the pilot/captian of the Halifax, who visited the family after the war, after being freed from a POW camp.
