I can confirm Sqn Ldr Debenham was the pilot. My Dad, Flt Lt Ron Carpenter DFM, was the bomb aimer on that op. I have Dad's log book and numerous photos of Dad on 10 Sqn Halifaxes. The op to Le Creusot on 19 June 1943 was 3.50 hrs. "The aircraft returned early. Port outer u/s. Attacked by fighter. Enemy destroyed by gunners" ( As written in Dad's log book)
