Mis-Que

Maybe I took it in the wrong context. I read your post thinking you thought it was OK to have the Provincials in whitby, the same as the Lacrosse Festival for the Nationals.
To see all those "happy" faces in the parking lot for the festival is one thing but I believe it would only be Whitby and area happy faces you would see on the third day being a Wednesday if it was held for the Provincials.
We have all hiked down the Highway for games, that is half the fun.
And finally Stevy, do you not think every sport in every town has volunteers?
Can we quit griping about lack of volunteers. I have not heard of any event being canceled from lack of volunteers. When the call goes out people will come forward. Its usually the people who try to take total control and micro manage all details in order to give themselves a pat on their own ego (and every center has them)that complain of lack of volunteers.
The regular set-up for provincials has worked for all players, not just the few OLA volunteers.
Am I wrong?
