"MR" regulations apply to situations where the player concerned is registered in minor lacrosse.
A resident Jr A player released to his affiliate Jr B team is a different scenario. Jr A teams are free to release resident players to their affiliate Jr B team as often as they require. However...
If the affiliate Jr B team releases the player to another Jr. B team two years in a row, it is considered a trade or unconditional release and that player then belongs to the non-affiliate Jr B team, but the resident Jr A team still retains his Jr A playing rights.
To play on another Jr A team (outside of the area of residence) the player must seek a release or a trade. If they are released to play or tryout for another JR A team, the local Jr B team still retains the Jr B playings rights of that player.
These rules are somewhat different for Jr C since that league is still in pilot mode this year.
