If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

don't go pretending like you know what it is all about....the person who is assigned provincially should only have to make decisions when they need to even out a group or if a team appeals their rating. The bulk of the weight should come from the decisions of the zone ratings meetings. This is where the associations should duke it out and call out the teams that are sandbaggers. Zone 10 is probably the only zone that takes this seriously and have some frank discussions around teams' ratings. I would bet that most of the other zones have a quick "electronic" meeting and just send in what the clubs requested without any debate. Actually have heard that the OLA has begun to send out a representative to various zones for their ratings meeting to ensure that some sort of process is carried out. You can't seriously think that the person assigned provincially has as good a grasp on a teams rank as those from within the zone in which they play
