Single division tournaments

I think there should be more single division tournaments like the Conradi Intermediate tournament in St. Catharines which attracts about 24 teams. Apart from some of the Paperweight tournaments which are clearly set up for other resons and some of the single day small turnout tournaments, I think it is the only one that caters to one division. It gives the teams a good chance to see how they match up against each other. Ironically it takes place after the ratings come out.
