My point is that if you want to make your case do it without using "because-I-said" evidence.  Associating non-receipt of festival surveys to "prove the point" of a belief of "most people" is kind of like using apples to "prove" oranges.  For instance, Angus Reid didn't do a political poll this week so that proves the point that most people will vote conservative.

So I think the "truth" that we all know is that everybody has an opinion.
