If home floor advantage is such a big deal, then why doesn't the home team win every tournament?
Whitby1 went to Brampton and lost to Orangeville in the final. Neither team was the home team. They went to KW and and beat Orangeville in the final. They went to Hamilton and won there too. And they won in Clarington too, but that one was nice and close.
Our boys played great all year, they lost to a team that played a better game in the zone final, and got the humble pie they needed to give them a spark in the provincials.
