Lax goalie equipment- where to buy?

Okay I need help. I have been all over, without having to pay ridiculous prices where can I find used or new leg pads for my lacrosse goalie? Here is the thing he is very tall for his age, almost 5'2" and he is Novice. I need, or am told we need 16", but Cat 2, or a long Cat 1 which seems to be impossible. I have bought him 14" Gait but they look ridiculous on him light he is wearing just a pair of jeans. If you can help it would be much appreciated. With the new rules this is impossible.
