Firstly, don't call out a person while hiding behind a screen name; it makes you seem like a ******* and takes all of your credibility away. Secondly, people are not out to "step on the little guy." The referee made his call and he was not going to change it because you weren't in agreement. In fact, that could warrant an unsportsmanlike penalty for disputing the call of an official. I also question you on when the last time a referee reversed his call for you. Lastly, the rulebook states that a short stick must be 40"-42" and this was obviously how the referee interpreted things. Yes, a stick is allowed to be as short as 36" but you can understand the confusion.
