After going through so many of these posts, I am surprised... I see so much bitchin and complaining about rankings... Are the kids complaining? or is it you parents who are trying to live vicariously through your kids? Give your head a shake... are you telling me novice and tyke players are upset that they are in E because they think they should be in D or C??? give me a break.
The whole C,D,E, "provincials" is about participation... not championships.. for kids in that age band (tyke, novice), you can give them differnt flavoured ice cream cones or jelly beans, and they will be tickled pink.
All of you parent whiners must be hockey parents... please dont continue to treat this game like hockey.
Let the kids play.. cheer them on...

You all can continue to bitch about the ratings... (and probably will continue to do so..) but if you are put in D... decide to form a complaint AFTER the tourney... if you win in a landslide, OLA can say it was a mistake.... if you dont win, you had nothing to bitch and complain about.

The ONLY solution, is to get rid of the B,C,D,E, championships (its just "participation medals" anyways, and do like the NCAA in basketball... do a 64 team (that should be almost every team) bracket play down...(with regional hosts) lose one, you"re out, move to a differnt pool.... may the last 4 do a tourney for the final champion....

if you complain now you are only getting possibly one game? well you cant have your cake and eat it too.

Let you kids play... "complain about your ratings, rankings, and pool after you (i mean the kids...its about them right?) finish the tourney..... this only proves your bitchin is righful or a waste of typing..
