I've been helping with our club and the OLA at the festival for too many years, and have seen too much.

Steveoo has concerns and righfully so. Now you mention about the goalie rule not being a OLA concern. Well they work with the CLA who brought in this rule. For example the leg guards in minor. Now for 2012 they are suppose to be tampered but at the ref clinics no refs were trained on this. But at the semi a few years back it was presented to the membership the rule change.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the refs are trained by the OLA Trainers and ref in OLA sanctioned events.

All anyone is asking is for someone to do their job at hand. No different then your employer would ask of you.

Difference is we as the members are their employer and sometimes employees need to be reviewed.
