I figure since we're now really open to the public we might try to lay down some sort of base rules. Or at least try to figure them out. Suggestions are HIGHLY welcomed. Also, remember: We are improv. Rules are as bendable as we want them to be.
So.
Basically:
Posting Order: In order of appearance? If people want to we could just do a sort of free-for-all that only has the Time Limit to prevent any sort of major confusion.
Time limit: I'm thinking as long as our numbers are low we can have a short time limit before people are allowed to start posting out of the Posting Order. Maybe around 48 hours?
Original Characters: For the current RP ("City Life") each poster controls one Original Character (though other's can interact with them). If you're using an Original Character of yours be aware that this is totally non-cannon and anything and everything we do is for pure entertainment.
Other Characters: Because we're dorks and we can't resist making gaming references sometimes Other Characters are introduced. I'm thinking anyone can control them and they are meant to be less important than Original Characters.
An additional note on Other Characters: If you need to use one that has been inserted into a story, but you don't actually know his/her personality, it is fine to BS it and just pretend you know what's going on. It's IMPROV, that's what we DO.
Skips: If you ever want to Skip, just say so somewhere. Other people will post and maybe you'll have a better idea of what your character wants to do next round.
PG Rating: Keep everything clean, Ok? That is all.
Suggestions:
You really don't have to take very long with your posts. Quick ugly pictures are always loved as long as we know what's going on.
Generally, two pictures is a good amount to convey a thought. If you only need one, that's fine. If you need more, that's also fine. S'all good.
If you want to pop in and join the RP, it's a good idea to quickly introduce yourself on the OOC board. (Maybe we should make a thread for that, eh?)
Also, forum members should make Jestercapp cake every thursday.
Anyway, please suggest anything you want up here and I'll edit the post to accommodate new ideas.
