408C 4V AOD Car? Nick dodgestang

4 bolt 351c bored to .03 over
Ross racing stroker pistons making a measured +- 10.5:1 compression
4v open chamber heads with 2.19/1.71 stainless valves w/ 3 angle valve job
POlished combustion chambers and ported exhaust side
Screw in studs, 1.73 Crane gold roller rockers
New Custom Flat Tappet Hydro cam
When first built with this cam:http://dab7.cranecams.com/SpecCard/DisplayCatalogCard.asp?PN=524551 its dyno at 300 RWHP and 335 ft/lbs but the motor was 'wrong' and ended up with cracked heads from incorrect compression numbers, bad geometry, and a missing comp ring in one cylinder.
Xcelerator intake
Holley Street Avenger 770 cfm with Vac Sec for the street and a Holley 850 DP for other times
2.25 x 14 filter and xtreme air lid
Milodin oil pump, pickup, windage tray and 9 quart pan
Weiand Aluminum High flow water pump
No PS, No PB
Underdrive single V groove crank pulley, water pump pulley and alt pulley
Mechanical Fuel Pump
Cloyes Double Roller Timing
MSD Billet Aluminum Small Diameter Distributer
MSD Blaster III coil
MSD High Capacity Wires
MSD 6a box
Spal 16inch electric fan
long tube headers
3 inch x pipe into 3 inch 2 chamber flowmaster then stepped down to 2.5 inch and mandrel bent over the rear axle.

Built to produce 400+ RWHP through an AOD and 9 inch rear, I will post the updated dyno sheet as soon as get one in the Spring.

Installed the 408 this weekend and fired it up for the burn in....man what a beast, even with the mufflers it is loud nad idles pretty mean. In a couple hundred miles I'll swap the inner springs on for the cam and be able to take it to the dyno soon after. Too bad I live in the NE so we are looking at spring to get it dynoed.
