The crank and rods are off the shelf Scat and the pistons are custom from Ross and speced by Mark McKeown.

Right now I have the rev limit set at 7000rpm and I bump it between 1st and 2nd gear almost every pass. My shift light is set at 6500rpm but I can't shift it quick enough to not hit the limit. The front wheels are in the air for a while and by the time the car hits the track, you'd better be pulling 2nd gear. The RPM at the finsh line is about 6800.

Thats quite a nice combo. I am looking to do something similar to your buildup on my clevo. One question, whats sort of rear suspension are you running, what sized tyre/slapper bars etc?

Cheers!

My car is a '79 Fairmont. It has stock style suspension with aftermarket control arms and coilover shocks. The tires are 28x10 Hoosier Quicktime Pros(DOT). It's a simple setup. I got the launch settled down a bit, now, by adding an anti-roll bar to the rear. It is launching straight but I am not getting the 60' times that I want, so I'm still working on it.

I got a new best MPH of 126.9 the other day but the ET hasn't improved yet.
