My motor build sheet is almost done...
I Need an Aluminium 351C Block to properly complete my build.

A FOntana lock will not work for my application since I want to use stock style water pump, etc...

I was gonna buy and Aluminium Block from Austrailia but the company is taking to long to finish testing and developing it...
All stoc parts would have been bolt on....

Any other suggestions... I want this motor to be light...going in a Pantera...

I do not want to use Windsor block parts etc...

Probably not what you want......

but just in case, I have one of those old 1968 ally blocks in my garage.Been blown up and welded back before I got it. Had my engine man look and he says it will cost a bit to fix it up properly. This is a proper 351C block, 4 bolts caps included. One of the guys on the forum has pics of a complete one he owns. I am sure you know what I am talking about. Let me know if you're interested.
Cheers, Martin

That 1968 block...

That wouldn't be one of the rare Can-Am blocks Ford made in very limited numbers, would it? I heard they made all aluminum 494 cubic inch 429 based engines, I hadn't heard about aluminum 351Cs.

Block Availability

Hi Martin!

Thanks for the quick reply. I certainly would not want to infringe upon your negotiations with another poster and would be delighted to be second in line for consideration.

You are quite right my friend; shipping will be no picnic across the pond. But, if we want to eat omelets, we gotta break some eggs (Ha! Ha! Ha!)

BTW: Was it a pan rail or the lifter valley that were damaged on your block (pretty common areas)?

-Chad

Sorry, not been here....

I don't look here often, just the main forum area. The damage is mainly pan rail, lifter valley seems OK.
Should the current interested party drop out, you will be next in line, fear not.
Cheers, Martin
