This is a buildup of a 395CID Cleveland Stroker. This is a replacement Engine to save the numbers correct Boss 351 engine. This uses a simple 2 bolt block, with a bore of 4.029, and a stroke of 3.875.utilizing CHI 4V heads,a Comp Cams Roller cam,and runs at 10.68 Comp. Ratio. The Carb is a Holley 750 HP,Manual secondaries,Holley Super Comp 2" primary headers. Holley Strip Dominator Intake. Results:559 HP@6500 RPM,and 480 lb./ft. Torque. My goal was to make as much reliable HP,on pump gas and still fit under the stock hood.
I used a 351 SVO/Sony Bryant Crank,Eagle 6"rods,& Ross Forged Pistons. The Heads were purchased directly from CHI Bare and at 74cc chamber volume, and were built using Comp Cams Beehive valve springs,Ferrea 6000 2.250x 5.350 Hollow Stem Int.valves.
