Specifications:
351 Cleveland 4V with 2 bolt mains.
Usage - Weekends only, local street, some strip

Block Mods:
Bored to 4.030 (357ci) 0.020 deck clearance with TRW pistons)

Heads:
Casting D3ZE AA 4V open chamber ~ 74 cc (originally had 78.9cc)
Ports & bowls sanded w/ 80 grit
Chambers sanded w/ 120 grit
Machined for 7/16” rocker studs & guide plates
Bronze valve guides & Viton valve seals
Hardened valve seats (intake & exhaust)

Pistons:
TRW 7049P +0.030 Forged, Pop up (ref Speed Pro L2348F30)
Internally balanced w/ crank, rods, damper, etc
Reconditioned rods w/ new bolts
Compression Distance = 1.645
Wrist pin Dia = 0.912
Dome Height = 0.425
Dome Volume = 12.10cc
Piston tops sanded w/ 120 grit
Rings - Total Seal Moly Max Plasma CR0390 30

Valve train:
Manley stainless valves, single grove keepers, 3 angle grind
Intake - 2.19 dia
Exhaust - 1.71 dia
7/16” Rocker Studs & Roller rocker arms
Valve springs - Lunati 73815 (single w/ damper)
Seat Height = 1.820 Seat Load = 110-120
Open Height = 1.200 Open Load = 340 max
Coil Bind = 1.130 Max Lift = 0.630
Manley retainers & single groove locks
5/16” Summit hardened push rods & Guide plates

Cam:
Lunati 00094 hydraulic Rpm range 2300-6300
Duration @ .050 in/exh = 234/244 deg
Overlap = 81 deg
Lift @ valve in/exh = .562”/ .588”
rocker ratio = 1.73
Lobe sep = 112 deg with 108 deg c/l (108 = 4* advanced)
Intake Opens @ 9* BTDC Closes @ 45* ATDC
Exh opens @ 58* BBDC Closes @ 6*ATDC
Lifters = Lunati 71900 (full contact snap rings)
Timing = Dynagear dual roller chain

Compression:
Calculated CR Static = 10.83:1
Calculated CR Dynamic = 7.00:1

Air Intake System:
Edlebrock Torker - Operating band 3000-7000 rpm
1” 4 hole phenolic carb spacer
K&N 14” X 3” round filter E-3027R
Ram Air = custom hood scoop 4" x 21" and filter housing

Edelbrock Recommendations:
CR > 9.5:1 Peak TQ > 4500 rpm Peak HP > 6000 rpm
Calculated Values:
CR = 10.83:1 Peak TQ = 5000 rpm Peak HP = 6500 rpm

Ignition:
Controller = MSD 6A with 7000 rpm rev limiter
Distributor = MSD 8580 elect with mechanical advance
Bushing = red springs = 2 Silver light
Wires = MSD 3133 Coil = MSD Blaster
Plugs = Autolite 24 Gapped 0.040 & indexed
Timing = 14-18* initial 36-38* total all in by 3000

Fuel System:
Carb = Edlebrock Performer 1411 750 cfm 4 barrel w/ Elect choke
Input fuel pressure = 5.5psi
TV Compensating bracket for AOD transmission
TV cable = Lokar 2AODHT
Fuel line = 3/8” braided tubing (supply & return)
Fuel pump = Mallory 4140 140gph 14psi max
Pressure regulator = Mallory bypass 4309 200gph max
Fuel Filter = Mallory 3160 125gph 5 micron filter
Fuel-pump safety switch = Summit

Cooling:
Melling standard flow oil pump w/ hardened oil pump shaft
Oil filter = Purolator L30119 or Motorcraft FL1A
Thermostat: Robert Shaw #333 or Kragen 330-180

Trans & Rear:
AOD trans final ratio is 0.67:1 in OD
Trans-Go AOD-HP reprogramming kit
Has AOD/E internals (extra clutches & improved rotating parts)
Sonnax A++ OD servo & Kevlar OD band
Spiral intermediate retaining ring
2400-2600 rpm stall RoadRunner converter
9" Ford traction loc w/ 4.88 gears & 29” slicks

Notes:
Expected horsepower ~ 400 hp Expected Torque 375 ft lbs
Engine RPM at 1320ft in 3rd gear should be 6300rpm @ 112mph in low 12's
