This guy is a very solid actor who has always given good performances. I saw him recently on L&O: SVU, in a bit more then a bit part. It seems a sign that the guy could use some work. What happened?
I finally saw this episode. even in his little part he was effective as usual. he has lost a lot of weight since Space Cowboys and The War Bride. he almost looks ill. i miss his prescence from the movies. he is one of my faves....perhaps we can expect to see him more on the small screen...at least we know that he hasn't given up acting altogether, which is what I was beginning to think since it had been so long since his last appearance.
What's up with Loren?, last I saw him was in the L&O:SUV episode and that's it, has he given up acting?, I hope not.
I can say that he doesn't go unseen on his movie perfomances, he's good at it. I can't just believe why he is not looking for new opportunities in the movies industry, he's got the talent and the intelligence to succeed...
On the other hand, I hope he is currently doing well.
Saw him on Numbers tv programs last evening. looking much healthier than when he guest starred on L&O:SVU last year. Played an arsonist in this one -never thought he would start playing heavies on TV, his range is much beyond that but it is good to see his working again. He really is a versatile actor and still very very hot.
If I were were you, I'd probably Google myself every now and again, and see what people were saying about me, if anything. If that's the case, you're hopefully seeing how many people would love to see more of your work. You're talented, and people with your talent, and ability to move and affect people, are needed. You know how awesome it feels when you see a really good movie, performance, any kind of art, or hear great music? Well, your work has that effect on people. You're good. That's rare. And you have a lot of fans, and we can't all be idiots. If you're just not into acting anymore, or for whatever reason aren't feeling up to it, then thank you for the work that you've done already. But if it's a question of having a ****ty manager, print out these discussion boards and show him/her there is demand for your talent--or get another manager who'll hussle to get you good parts.
