best high school team by far is john f.ross royals from guelph

yea, so far those guelphers are showing their high school hockey prowess (bishop macdonell and j.f. ross)

well theres probably not as many schools there as in the GTA meaning that most of the kids go to 1 or 2 schools and they got alot of kids trying out where around here theres more kids but the talent is spread out. also many kids chose not to play school hockey and instead focus on there league teams and education.

by your logic, schools in places like guelph should win every year because their talent is concentrated, but you're wrong because there's about 6 schools in guelph and history hasnt had guelph teams doing well until this year...ie. last years carmel vs st mikes final...so pretty much everything you said doesnt apply except for the 'not playing on their school team part'

the best jounior hoceky team is definatly st thomas more from hamilton. they won the st mikes tounrament uncontested. they won the hamilton jr tounrament and won a tournament in the states without losing a game in any of these tournaments!

Heres my vote for the best high school team...all of them. High school hockey is some of the best hockey out there. The kids play for themselves and for their schools. They just love being with their peers and from what I've seen there is very little if any politics involved.
Do you think that it is any coincidence that kids love it so much and there are no parents involved? I think not. It does not matter how fat daddies wallet is, the best play...end of story.
To all the high school players out there, great year, keep up the hard work and I hope to see you all out there next year.

stouffville won the AA championship and beat teams like Brother Andre who were semi finalists throughout there season. Dont be fooled by a bunch of letters, mind you they did extremely well for a group of kids, half of which play single a.

the only difference between a/aa and aaa/aaaa is school population size, for those who are confused (prior posts)

st thomas more doesnt have hill and taggart. they have boiago, principi, wilson, romaniw from the bulldogs solow, ferritto, couture(goalie) from the reps and they also have 3 92 aaa players from the reps. i dont think anyone would be able to beat them but there sr team is probably one of the worst in the COUNTRY WOW!!

Stouville won OFFSA Varity/Senior so if you are talking that level, then they win...

ctk is now 3 for 3 in tourneys goin 15-0, beat notre dame twice who has 6 kids from burlington AAA team min midget. they look pretty good and could be a force at the tourney next week

CTK won the tournament with a convincing 4-2 win over Vilanova(windsor). CTK junior record this tournament season 22-0.
had a tougher time disposing of Notre Dame(welland) in the semis

i was at that tournament and i was at the st mikes tournament and nothing against ctk but i think st thomas more would take them in a good close game but st thomas more is jsut unbeatable there record is 18-0 in 3 tournees against 22-0 team would be a great game. it was too bad that st thomas more couldnt go if they did it would have been a great game. in the st mikes st thomas beat villinova 6-1 in the finals controlled the game wtih a goal called back on a terrible call by the ref so i still think st thiomas best jr team with ctk a close second!

For junior it is honestly Chaminade. they had micheal fine from the Missauga Ice dogs and 92 Nick Quin from Jr Canadians. Plus some other AAA people

Ctk had a great team this year, congrats to them on an undefeated season! From the games I watched their best players were JP Villeneuve, Mike Scarbossa and Stephen Silas from Halton 92 AAA team, Andy Bathgate from Brampton, and Riley Mcgilloway, Chase Nieuwendyk from HALTON 1991's. But they also had great goaltending, with Craig Rylett and Ryan Kelly holding the fort.

the toronto region is a joke because all players are spread out and the 3 top teams were in the same division. Etobicoke CI won the city finals but the most competition they got was from their division rivals martingrove who tied them 2-2 in the season and Richview who tied them 4-4 in the season and who lost to them in the last 3 min 4-3 in the playoffs. They gotta split those teams up.. ECI will have a strong team again next yar but are loosing 7 players and could possibly loose to Richview who has 90% of their team returning and are getting a skilled AAA players from Syracuse AAA team. One of those 2 teams wil take the cities

ok st thomas jr team killed fines jr team in the st mikes tournament and brought home 3 championships with a 18-0 record too bad st thomas principal is a dick and wouldnt let them in any other tournaments or it would have been a great showdown with ctk. i think st thomas would have takin it they are jsut so deep with 7 1991 AAA players from the bulldogs and reps and 3 other 1992 AAA players from the reps. but next year they will be ****
