I think your missing alot of US players there pal. There are way more potential #1 overall in the 91 age group than what you have. The #1 pick will be none of the above.

In the hope of satisfying the people requests. If you check the poll again there will be a field for "other". Which allows you to type and select a player not listed on the poll.

Why not, Santini put on a show at the OHL CUP. Say what you want, but he should have been the mvp, but as usual the kid never gets his due. Nice kid too.

I agree, the list is a f'in joke. This chnb character and his hack website have zero credibility after publishing a list like that. Hey chnb do some f'in homework.

Agree with our list or not. That is your choice. Our staff evaluated the top performers. We know full well that we may have missed some kids. Its not easy to evaluate 380 kids in one weekend. If you don't agree with our selections I suggest that you consult OHL Cup statistics and see who is at the top of that list.
It also depends on the needs of the team picking at the time, if you a top forward but the team selecting is in need of D the chances of them taking a D are pretty good, it should be interesting, Ottawa has set themselves up nice with all those picks, two in the 2nd round I believe. and one in every round.

Your staff needs to be fired. No disrespect to the players on your list but if you are going to come on here and pimp yourself as a hockey expert make sure you do more than go to one tournament and make sure you know who and what you are talking about.

What's wrong with evaluating what they saw at the OHL Cup in one weekend? Unless a player is injured, here is where you should be judged. Many kids have the benefit of having a reputation and did play well. That's life. Santini and Pirri were great. Pirri will be a big time player in the future, but he has to grow and he will.

Waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too much value being put on the OHL Cup here lads!
Its a showcase tournament, much like what prospects used to be. Some of the greatest midjudgements of talent have taken place both positively and negatively in the OHL Cup.
Its held at a time of year where half the teams are completely exhausted from their league playoffs and the other half have been off for 2-3 weeks or more.
Regular season and playoffs are what is mostly measured. Love the OHL Cup concept, by way too much emphasis on what really amounts to a year-end love fest that is over-hyped and over rated.
The good scouts don't over emphasize OHL Cup performances, they just blend in what they see with the mid to late part of the season.

I have reviewed your issues with the list and it turns out that it is simply a miscommunication. They did not state that the list is compiled based on the players viewed. As we have always contended, there is no possible way that CHN staff could ever fairly evaluate every player. This is a task so monumental that even the OHL Central Scouting struggles and they have much more resources devoted to such a task.
The notice below is what has been added to the website. Hopefully this will help in dismissing some of the controversy that surrounds this list.
Note: That the players presented here are based on the only the performance of the OHL Cup and GTHL Under 17 camp. We are unable to comment on other events. Although we would have liked to attend our staff was busy at other events.

Windsor cannot get the top five players in the draft to go there. Oreilly, Duchene, Kassian,Werek ,Holland. Hall is willing to go there to be selected #2.

Windsor has been all over every single AA rated player out there, telling them they want them 1st or 2nd round. They can say what ever they want they are just feeling you out, making sure you have a good character. The guys that tell them they dont want to play there are idiots, shows a lack of character.

1. Oreilly Erie
2. Hall Windsor
3. Holland St Mikes
4. Kassian Peterborough
5. Duchene Brampton
Oreilly is deciding on Erie they will convince him to come. Hall is going to Windsor. Peterborough loves Kassian's skill and size. Duchene bluffing all along on NCAA and has family connections with Brampton. I picked Holland to go to St Mikes but a possible ice dog could go there also.

Everyone has missed Kennedy from Ajax/Pickering. Played Midget this year. Evryone except the scouts. Better than any of the aforementioned with the exception of Dushene.

It is always easy to say the OHL cup is just a showcase, and there have been alot of players come out of the tournament overrated.O'reilly, while he is a good hockey player, I just don't see him being the consensus No. 1 pick.1 goal in the ohl cup, 2 points in the playoffs without a series win and minimal output at the under 17. But hey he scored 4 goals against Don Mills in the regular season.Ohl can start to see a decline in players wanting to go the OHL and it will continue.Casey Cizika's is another example. Doesn't play in the semi's in the OHL cup, ends up with 3 points in the tournament but is named tournament mvp.The o continues to embarass itself and it is starting to catch up to them. The biggest winner in all of this is the NCAA.The o is starting to look more and more like minor hockey.By the way I think Cizikas is a very good player but let's start giving credit where credit is due. Erlich and Maxwell were the talk of the Marlie tournament, but we don't hear alot about them.
Windsor does not have a problem with anyone not reporting. In fact the rumour in the league is that new ownership has made wsr one of the best places for a kid to develop in. They may have wanted the belle tire kid, but he is going to the US program.
Also whoever thinks Hall is behind those players you mentioned, they must be not seeing that kid is the best skater in north america for his age, and oh yeah, 90 goals!!!
