The Richmond Hill Rams and the Espanola Kings will be holding a training camp in Richmond Hill, May 11th, 12th and 13th. Camp fees are to be paid in full prior to the camp in order to have your spot reserved. The camp will be open to all players interested in playing for either team in the GMHL and limited to 60 players and 8 Goalies.

Over 25 players receive college and university offers that were either fed up with provincial politics, were turned down by such or just decided to go a different route..

Yes, a total waste of money.

Mandatory Four practices per week, 42 game schedule, 3 college tours that other Jr. leagues do not offer their kids, not to mention 16 year olds that sign have to be played..

Keep looking to practice once or twice a week and younger players sitting on the bench..

I wouldn't dismiss this league.

With the way Ontario Hockey has screwed up the ages, it leaves not too many options for players of AAA calibre to continue to play instead of quitting.

You lose many after this year because of the draft year. Lots feel if they did not get drafted that it is over for them.

Refuse to go back to Midget because of the abuse from Minor Midget coaches, politics etc...

With the double age it is harder for a kid to make the team.
