ALL these kids are better off getting big in Tier II and then evaluating where they are. OHL is good for top kids development, not a true development league as it is run like a baby pro team. |

On one hand Fowler has a chance to play for a very good coach and organization in Kitchener plus is guaranteed 1 mem cup.
On the other hand he is guaranteed to play on the National Team for 2 years and then go to Notre Dame. YES, NOTRE DAME!!!!
There is no comparison, a great school academically, a great hockey school, a great coach in Jackson plus it is NOTRE DAME!!!!!!
Even if Kitchener gave him 100k as some suggest, 45 of that has to go to the goverment for taxes.
Nothing against Kitchener but the only way he goes there is if his ego gets in the way. |

The post before the last post should really learn how to write a sentance before giving any kind of opinion. But we all know who it is. |

Even though that guys spelling may be off he is 100 percent correct. Hate to break it to you but it was fawler at ranger rookie camp with crutches he will play for kitchener because they will pay for all his schooling in Canada and schooling is underated here. Also he is going to play in elite program. Hmmm hasn't this notre dame thing happened before too with the rangers oh yeah i forgot victor oreseckiv no one said they would get him ethier well the experts were wrong on that one too. The rangers have a stacked defence core this season and will NOT use him this year that is right he will not play this year but look for him to suit up the year after and make a huge impact. There wont be a memorial cup this year for the young kid he wont develop with the starting 5 defence on the kitchener rangers. You think drafting fawler when he had a full ride anywhere was just a long shot well think again there are endless players the rangers have done this too in the pass couple years to get players. Matt Auffrey was at Ohio, Vic Oreseckiv notre dame, Matt Martello supior, and even Matt Lashoff who is now with the boston bruins was in the same situation Fawler is in right now. |

Lashoff was not in the same situation because he was drafted by the Soo, they traded for his rights. | |
