There are no top players in midget, the top players are playing junior d,c,a, or major junior. The players you mentioned are therefore just average players who are just a little bit better than other average players.

F.uck! Im sick and tired of this ongoing debate, its BS, there are good hockey players everywhere at all levels, this is a Midget AAA forum so that is why we are discussing who the best players are in Midget AAA, not junior or anyothere league, if you dont like it shut your hole and screw off

Totally agree and im sorry but Midget AAA is better then Jr.d i happen to have watched many midget games n jr.d and even C isnt to much of a difference from Midget but what im getting at is the list of players listed at top of this screen are very close to being ready for Jr.b and also Jr.A espically Thompson, Nagy, Clark, Little and Donati as those are the players i try to get out to watch most and they all live within a good drive to my hometown

obv midget teams can beat junior C and D but top end junior C and D can beat Jr B and A teams. jr c,d usually pick up te jr a and b players who arent happy or want to play an extra year but these teams dont tend to have 16,17 or even 18 yr olds on ther team so they are erelivent to the developement of players which is a big reason y many young players dont play jr c and D because they dont want to play on a bad team inorder to get ice time, the reason y 16 yr olds are incouraged to play muidget

junior D is awful....junior C is a bunch of kids that used to play midget AAA...and midget AAA does have some kids that could play junior A or B...whoever the f.u.c.k thinks junior D is the same as midget AAA is a downer

I agree jrd, jrc and midget calibre are fairly equal. All have kids that arent quite ready for jrb/jra or just can't deal with the committment. The difference I give to midget is the dream in many of the players is still alive as its still minor hockey. jrc and jrd players have mostly realized the dream is over and just want to keep playing at a competetive pace.

Agreed in midget aaa hockey its split up there is a group of players who will move on to jr.b and jr.a a and a group that will go no higher then Midget AAA jr.c or d but there is still many that have a good shot at going to jr.b or jr.a and then maybe further on to ncaa or even a year of 2 in the OHL ive seen many cases of that hapening there was an edition in this magezine that talked about ohl draft and midget AAA and names top players from all the Midget AAA leagues and players and there was a whole section on rated top 20 players in each league and i only remember cambridge and waterloo each had 3 players in it from Waterloo there was Nagy, Thompson and Wilhelm and from Cambridge there was Clark, Woolley and Little. Good think i gotta see what it was called

Nagy could go places. Hes a late bloomer that grew about 2.5 ft in the last 2 years so now hes grown into his new body and has finally settled into it. He has always been able to play, and hit, and snipe so it was just a matter of time that he started getting some recognition.

Re: Top Alliance teams and players

the way releases and ap players are considered..the oha ranks the level of hockey and it goes like this:
Major Junior (OHL)
JR. A Tier II
JR. B
AAA Midget
JR.C
JR.D

If you play for Midget AAA you can not play or AP for Jr.C or Jr.D but you can for Jr.B therefore classifying Midget AAA better than JR.C and D but not as good as Jr.B
