Some 91's will get drafted this year. Many undrafted 91's can and will make the OHL at some point (usually as a walk-on). If you think you have what it takes to play in the OHL and are undrafted you need to do some homework. After the OHL draft target some teams (usually the re-building teams) that may need help at the position you play and contact them to see if you can get a walk-on invite to their camp. If you have an agent, better still since they will have contacts and can get you a tryout. Or play Tier 2 for a year and try again as an 18 yr old. There are many good players in the OHL who have never been drafted to the league. |

OHL teams can have a maximum of 50 players on their protected list.. this would be comprised of:
1) players on their current roster
2) players who they have drafted over the past couple of years.
As players are not put on the roster - they eventually are dropped from the protected list. So if they draft you and do not develop to the point where they think you will never make their team, you are removed from their list. |
