But a question. What uses does that Panko bread crumbs Have? Do they have a flavor????

I use them a fair bit, but be warned: they are not cheap.  They are bigger and crunchier than bread crumbs, and do not have a flavour as such.  But they can give a crispier coating, due to the size of the bits I guess.  I find them more successful on meats - chicken, pork, veal - than on fish.
