Michael, tell your beloved wife I felt so bad
to hear of this diagnosis. We got news that my
mother-in-law had pancreatic cancer... several years
ago now... Debbie my wife and her mom talked about it
and they did not want her to go thru terrible chemo
or treatments that really would not help.. she was able
to stay at home, but lived only about 3 months after being
diagnosed.
They were like sisters, always talked each evening...
went shopping together.. really best friends in my wife's
life-early to mid adult.. Debby was only child, her Dad had passed
away from prostate cancer that had not been caught early enough - it
had already spread to his bones... I just wish they could get a handle on
some of these... make them more like HCL - a maintainable
situation... I did see just the other day an article on prostate
cancer, they are calling it a wonderful breakthrough treatment,
not preventative... none the less it was very encouraging..

I know you will be spending as much time together with your mom
(in law), I hope you've had a good relationship with her...
This is so hard, my heart goes out to you guys...
Thanks for sharing, if you need to vent or just want to share your
struggles and pain, not a problem.. no words help at a time like this,
but to know others are praying for you and here to support, that's the
best...
