It's been a great day and now a little rest before fireworks with the grandkids! Hope you are having a nice day as well! I suppose that the highlight of today was when Ed and I went to the "Texas Road House" to eat lunch. Ed told our waitress it was my birthday (when I went to the bathroom). After we had eaten, the wait staff all crowded around and had me sit on a sawhorse with a saddle on it and shouted my name and that I was 31 (yeah, right) and Yahoo! Luckily I had a margarita under my belt, so I was not concerned about the extra attention ! Ha Ha!
Happy Birthday Carolyn & One of the best 4th of July's ever!

It sounds like you had a great day! I had one of the best fourth of July celebrations ever! I spent it with friends upstate in Catksills. We had lots of delicious food and homemade rhubarb pie with the lattice pie crust, scrumptious. Got to see some fireworks. Best part of all the weather stayed cool and didn't rain (something it's been doing almost daily since the start of June). During the day, we even went to a book reading and hiked up a trail to a lake. Oh and we drove thru a covered bridge too.
and so glad that your 4th was so good. You just reminded me that I've got some rhubarb in the freezer that my sister-in-law brought from Wisconsin the last time she came to New Mexico! Yummy!
I'm planning on it! I have my 6 month onc check on Wednesday. My WBC is 3.9 and I have slightly more Lymphs than Neuts AND I MAY HAVE EVEN SPOTTED A HAIRY CELL on my blood smear!!!!!!, but.... I think I can still get more mileage out of my 2005 2-CdA treatment. I'm not afraid .
Happy 4th to you...Got out to a baseball game last night with family..Made it through the game with some pain but not bad. Still on crutches but nice to be getting out of the house and managing better.
